A member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, he also has extensive experience in alternative medicine centre management. Trained in Tuina massage at the Beijing Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000, he now leads Imperial Herbary Cotswold acupuncture, guiding its growth.
