Dr. Zhao began studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1987. She trained for 8 years at a leading medical university in China, earning a Master’s degree under the guidance of Chinese Medicine Grand Master Dr. Xue Wen Zhang, regarded as a national treasure in Chinese medicine.

I can speak very good English then and gave lectures and trainings to hundreds of overseas students from USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, UK. At that time I was young and ambitious, I was inspired and encouraged by my foreign students to come to West countries to fulfill my dream to set up my own acupuncture practice.
