I first started studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1987. Now over 30 years later I am still as exciting and passionate as I was when I first began studying.
I studied in a medical university in China for 8 years to accredit with Master Degree and my instruction tutor is Chinese Medicine Grand Master Dr. Xue Wen Zhang who is a national treasure doctor in China.
From 1996 I worked in Guang An Meng hospital (see the above), the most famous Chinese medicine hospital in China, which is China's only TCM hospital that boasts British BUPA accreditation. I have given thousands of patients acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments in the hospital and have seen acupuncture and herbal medicine help and benefit so many patients' life and health.
In 2000 I decided to move to Britain to work in a private clinic.
In 2001 I assisted Geoffrey to build Imperial Herbary medical acupuncture clinic in Worcester which is a huge success. Over 25 years We have helped thousands of patients to get well, some patients said acupuncture and herbal medicine profoundly transformed their life. Recently We also set up a practice in Cirencester.
Geoffrey founded Imperial Herbary Chinese Medicine Centre in 2001. He strategically planed our development in Cotswold and Cirencester.
Geoffrey successfully managed the day to day running and management of the clinic for 20 years.
He has been a certified national registered mandarin interpreter for NHS, GP Surgeries and America medical institute. He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Linguists in the UK.
Geoffrey was trained in Tuina, the art of Traditional Chinese massage in 2000 at Chinese Academy of Chinese Traditional medicine in Beijing. He is also an experienced herbalist.
